About my practice

I'm a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist based in Oakden, providing community support in Adelaide suburbs and surrounds.

I work with adults who have communication difficulties as a result of acquired or developmental disability. I love to learn about a person's networks, families and interests, and use this to guide therapeutic interventions. It's a privilege to be invited into my clients’ lives; to support communication and the vital role it plays in human connection and identity.

I'm committed to person-centered approaches, and passionate about supporting people to connect with others and have their opinions heard. I tenaciously advocate for my clients and fight for their human right to communicate.

I've practiced exclusively in the field of multiple and complex disability since 2012, and I've been lucky enough to work side by side with skilled multi-disciplinary teams of speech pathologists, dietitians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, allied health assistants, behaviour support practitioners and psychologists.

I bring creativity to my work, whether it's focusing on functional speech, training support networks or building an AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) system for a person with complex communication needs.

I also have my beautiful therapy dog Delilah, who is available to attend sessions with me. She has been called a battery charger, and she's powered by pats.
